About Zara Mackay-Boyce

A passionate and professional individual, Zara grew up in what was Fairvale. After leaving at 16 to find “greener” pastures and somewhere to openly be their queer self, Zara has been back in Rothesay for the past 7 years with their two kids and two dogs. Receiving her Bachelors of Applied Management from UNB in 2020, Zara has worked with local and international businesses as a consultant, focused on strategic planning and creative solutions. People are their special interest.

Zara’s 3 main topics of interest in running for Rothesay MLA are: Education, 2SLGBTQIA+

issues, and sustainable infrastructure such as housing and transportation.

Rothesay deserves a leader that is well versed in current issues, building a safe and accessible community where all demographics are able to thrive.
