About Mariah Darling

Mariah Darling is a queer and trans activist and community organizer who is running for MLA in Saint John Harbour as the Green Party candidate. Mariah was born and raised in Saint John and grew up on the city's west side. They are alumni of Saint John High School (2012) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from UNBSJ in 2018. Their background in medical research has honed their analytical skills, enabling them to make informed decisions based on evidence and data.

 They currently work as an education coordinator, where they provide inclusion and allyship training for a local 2SLGBTQIA+ organization. As an advocate for 2SLGBTQIA+ rights, Mariah is committed to promoting equality and visibility within the community through an intersectional lens. 

 Mariah's campaign for MLA is focused on creating a just and equitable community. They recognize the pressing need for affordable housing, accessible healthcare, and an education system that serves the needs of all residents. As the Green Party candidate, Mariah is committed to implementing policies that prioritize sustainability in all our systems. 

 Mariah's analytical, collaborative, and information-based problem-solving skills make them a strong candidate for MLA in Saint John Harbour. Their commitment to social justice and evidence-based decision-making is a refreshing perspective that is much needed in government. If elected, they will fight for a better future for all Saint Johners.
