The deadline for registration is Saturday, April 15, 2023. 

Simultaneous French/English interpretation will be provided.

There is a $25 fee for those attending in person to cover the cost of lunch. 

 

Membership

To be able to participate, you must have been a member for at least 14 days.  You must register or renew before Saturday, April 15, 2023

Only members can vote. Membership fees are $10 and are not tax-deductible.

 

Provincial Council Elections

Want to be involved with the governance of your political party?

The following positions are up for election: 

  • President
  • VP Francophone
  • Secretary
  • 4 Regional Councillors
    • Region 2: Fredericton-Miramichi-Valley-Carleton
    • Region 4: Madawaska-Restigouche-Acadian Peninsula
  • Chair (or Co-chairs) of the Policy Working Group

Nominations are now open until March 4, 2023.

Nominees will be announced and voting will open on March 31, 2023.

 

Voting in Provincial Council Elections

All members will receive a ballot to vote for the Provincial Council Elections, regardless of AGM attendance. 

All ballots must be received, either electronically or by mail, by midnight April 26, 2023.

Policy Resolutions

Any resolution must be submitted to Provincial Council via the party Head Office: [email protected], at least 60 days in advance of the AGM, i.e. on or before February 27, 2023, to be considered in the business portion of our meeting.

The full text of any resolution must be submitted in writing to the Provincial Council by a Registered District Association (RDA) with a minimum of five (5) members or by a group of at least five (5) members. In either case, members need to indicate in writing their support for the proposed amendment. 

The Head Office has until March 26th, 2023, to publish all the resolutions received on the Green Party of NB website in both official languages. Members will have 30 days to consult the documents.
