About Liam MacDougall

Liam MacDougall has lived in Fredericton his whole life. He is currently in his first year pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science at St. Thomas University. Liam has also worked at Currie’s Greenhouses in Fredericton since 2019, which gave him an interest in gardening and the environment. Liam is also involved with the city of Fredericton’s youth advisory committee, and junior achievement of NB as a volunteer advisor.

 Liam was first involved in the 2020 Green Party provincial campaign, by taking part in sign waves with a local candidate. He also currently holds the post of youth representative on the Green Party of New Brunswick provincial council, and the RDA president for Fredericton North. These roles have given him insight on the issues facing New Brunswick’s. He believes green is the colour of change, as greens give fresh ideas and a practical alternative to the status quo. Change in government requires change on the ballot!
