October 5, 2024

FREDERICTON - The Green Party of New Brunswick is proud to have confirmed a gender-balanced slate of candidates for the 2024 provincial election.

“I am proud that we have such a strong team of diverse candidates offering to represent their communities in the Legislative Assembly,” stated Green Party Leader David Coon. “Leadership matters in this election and our candidates are community leaders. I know they will work hard every day to earn the trust of voters in their ridings.”

The Green Party will be running 46 candidates in this election. The Green slate is gender balanced and includes an Indigenous candidate, proud members of the LGBTQ+ community, candidates with a disability, candidates of colour, immigrants, Acadians, and Anglophones.

“These wonderful candidates will join Megan Mitton, Kevin Arseneau and I in the Legislature to offer the bold vision and sensible solutions to the biggest problems of our time,” added Coon. “They are community champions, they know their stuff, and they will work tirelessly for their constituents.”
