About Bernadette Morin

Born in Saint Boniface, a suburb of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Bernadette was raised multilingual, speaking both French and English. When she was 6, her paternal grandmother had a stroke, and so the family moved to Toronto, Ontario. Growing up in Ontario, but attending a French school and being equally fluent in both of these languages, proved to be a tremendous advantage in her professional life. 

Bernadette has worked a multitude of jobs in her lifetime, varying from places like Second Cup, Avery Label, and Tridel Condominiums, to a Press Office for the Government of France, the Canadian Hardware Association and Philips Electronics. She has worked in Accounting, Marketing, Administration, and participated in myriad Trade Shows.  At 43 years old, she decided to go back to school and become a Registered Massage Therapist. She took many courses to increase her knowledge and skills beyond massage, including Acupuncture as well as Pregnancy and Infant treatments. Bernadette ran a busy private practice for over a decade. In 2021, her husband was offered an early retirement package from Chrysler, where he was a Millwright, and they moved to New Brunswick. Initially drawn by the lower housing cost and the proximity of the ocean, they quickly fell in love with the province, and more importantly the people they have been so fortunate to meet since arriving. It has quickly become their true home. 

Over her life, Bernadette has also been fortunate enough to travel to many parts of the world, and everywhere she has gone the people she has met have all wanted the same thing – to live their life rewardingly, and to give a better life to their children.  She sees the fear being sown by many leaders today, trying to divide and pit us against each other, to detract from the fact that they aren’t actually doing anything to make our lives better. Bernadette has decided that she will put her wide-ranging skills to use making this a place where EVERYONE can feel at home and live their best life.
