Jean Marie Nadeau

Jean Marie Nadeau has lived in the riding of Moncton Center for 22 years. He has already run in provincial and municipal elections many times. In 1995, he was the NDP candidate in the Caraquet district and he won 24% of the votes.

Jean Marie was also President of the Société de l'Acadie New Brunswick (SANB). He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Vitalité Health Network.

As for his love for the people and his continued community involvement, no one can dispute such evidence. Some of his accomplishments include the fact that he presided over the founding of community radio CJSE-BO FM, he launched the idea of the World Acadian Congress and he created the Common Front for Social Justice. He has written 5 books and has more than 10 years of union work with the NBFL. Jean Marie also participated in the creation of the Maritime Fishermen's Union.

We must be able to participate in decisions that affect our lives and be guaranteed that our votes are reflected in the make-up of the Legislative Assembly.

> Active Citizenship

Our communities should be in control of their own destinies, supported by strong local economies, and sustained by local sources of food and renewable energy.

> A Culture of Peace and Respect

We must live within the ecological limits of the Earth, while meeting our needs without threatening our children's future or the survival of other species.
