Trained in Home Economics and Nursing, experienced in Federal, Provincial and Non government work, has worked as educator, care giver, counsellor and advocate, as well as having had many volunteer implications. Mother of three, Grandmother of 7, passionate about health promotion encompassing the social determinants of health, including environment, income and food security; as well as adequate social support systems for all. Presently directly involved in environmental sustainability issues and advocacy for seniors as a volunteer. Sister and Mother to two former candidates at the federal level of politics and passionate about making our world a better place for all. Most concerned for the future of own children and grandchildren and believes very strongly in the importance of proportional representation to serve the whole population of voters.
